CHESS LORE
Support
A person reads this address and a person answers it. Write in English or Italian, whichever is easier: gradlyforsup@gmail.com.
Getting in touch
Write to gradlyforsup@gmail.com. We usually answer within two working days. Telling us which device you are on, which version of the game, and what you were doing when it went wrong is the difference between one reply and five.
There is no forum, no chat, and no ticket number. It is one address and it is read.
Restoring a purchase
If you bought the unlock and it is not there — on a new phone, after reinstalling, or after resetting a device — open the purchase screen in the game and use Restore. It asks the store what you already own and gives it back. It is free and it does not charge you again.
Restoring only works while you are signed in to the store account that made the purchase. If Restore finds nothing, check which account the device is signed in to before writing to us — it is the answer nine times out of ten.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by the store, so refunds are too. On the App Store you request one from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Google Play, from your order history. We cannot issue a refund ourselves, but if something in the game is broken, tell us — fixing it is the part we can do.
Your saved game
Chess Lore saves on the device and nowhere else. Your progress is not in an account and not on a server, which has two consequences worth knowing before they surprise you: nobody but you can read it, and nobody but you can get it back.
Deleting the app deletes the save with it. There is no cloud copy to restore from, and we cannot recover a save that is gone. If you are about to reset a device and the valley matters to you, finish the chapter first.
Accounts and data
There is no account to create and none to delete, because the game never asks for one. What the app does collect, and what the store collects on our behalf when you buy something, is set out in the privacy notice.
Bugs, and what happens to them
Send them. A screenshot and the sentence “I was here and pressed this” is enough. Chess Lore is written by one person, so a bug report is read by the one who can fix it, and the fix arrives in an update on the store.
